Diana Nyad, four years after her record breaking swim of 110 miles from Cuba to Florida, in September 2017 lead over 100 people walking 132 miles from Copley Square Boston to Cape Elizabeth in Portland Maine. Then November 9th she disclosed having been sexually assaulted by her swimming coach at age 14 in a New York Times op ed " My Life After Sexual Assault" saying we need to construct an accurate archive of these abuses. And we need to prepare coming generations to speak up in the moment, rather than be coerced into years of mute helplessness.
